Unfortunately, unseen circumstances have forced us to close our shop and it is now for sale.

Great people. We are excited to be here in Colorado and so thankful for all of our customers and tremendous support we have received since we opened.

There was a great turnout of members and guests at Mark Rice's American Midwest Hardwoods, 2723 W. 11th St. Rd., last night. We didn't realize we had so many members who like woodworking and for those who do, this is the place to be.

Ok, I've never made a bowl before ( well I've made smoking bowls before ) but never a turned bowl on a lathe. And still haven't.
Well here it is, oak burl with an oak base to sit in.
I went a little crazy with the inlays, was having too much fun. Inlays are blue stone, green stone, turquoise, silver, metal flake and bronze.
Put a coat of epoxy on the outside to protect and give it a beautiful finish.

This has been an ongoing growing project that started of with a simple walnut live edge mantle that was going above his fire place. Decided to add corbels and by accident the center board between the corbels were created. Finally we are putting on the finish. More pictures later
