We’ve had a quiet summer at the Dust & Grain Co. I moved out of the shop I was renting in March in preparation to move my shop and family onto a new adventure.
The Dust & Grain Co. will resume custom one of a kind wood creations soon! In addition to my woodworking projects for sale, this page will start highlighting the journey at our new home and lifestyle on our hobby farm, adding more meaning to the Dust & Grain name. We will be welcoming some mini highland cows, goats, chickens, and any other animals we find to care for along the way!
This page will soon be rebranded, and much more active with posts to include a mix of farm life, DIY projects, and custom wood creations.
Meet Patrick! A 3 month old mini/mid highland. We will welcome him home in early September when we will also welcome a handful of baby goats.

When hobbies collide.

I had such a great experience teaching a woodworking class to middle school students. We took on a backyard family getaway themed project. I got to spend some quality shop time with my daughter, and watched her and other students get comfortable and confident using tools. The kids did a great job!
This item is on display this weekend, February 9th - 11th, at the Resch Events Expo, and is being auctioned off for charity.
