It’s a cool and breezy morning and there’s rain in the forecast for next week. Sounds like a great time to get more native plants added to your garden! And it just so happens there are SO MANY plants in stock right now, including 20 new plug varieties!

Stopped at Spruce Flats Bog in Forbes State Forest and the pitcher plants were in full bloom! The pictures don’t do it ...

Stopped at Spruce Flats Bog in Forbes State Forest and the pitcher plants were in full bloom! The pictures don’t do it justice, but it was just spectacular to see so many! As a bonus, while taking the short hike to the bog we saw and/or heard numerous warblers (black and white, hooded, bay-breasted, blackburnian, chestnut-sided, black-throated blue, yellow-rumped, black-throated green) and many other birds. If you’re headed to western PA anytime soon, put this on your to-do list!

No worries! Saturday hours resume June 20th with more plug varieties ready as well as additional trees/shrubs! Need something specific? Send your special order tree/shrub list and I might be able to have it ready for pickup by the 20th!
