This bungalow in 'Tosa needed a facelift and our team delivered! This required full tear off of the original siding. We wanted to keep the aesthetic of the awesome wood rafters yet bring it into a maintenance free state for our customer with aluminum wrapped fascia and window trim. We added vinyl shake siding on the 2nd story with plank on the first. The porch was wrapped with LP Smartside trim. Soffit beadboard and rafter tails were painted all to match the LP trim and the stucco was painted to match the vinyl shake color. Down spouts with Tri-step gutter protection to cap off the new 5 inch seamless gutters. Updated electrical and exhaust penetrations points. This home also got new entry and storm doors, adding to its efficiency and giving it a timeless classic look!

Unique bathroom makeover and renovation! We worked hand in hand with our customer on this design. Originally, this 1950's ranch style bathroom had a 1/2 bath with a curtain entrance into a tub and shower with a full entrance connected to the bath on the other side, with only shower curtains for privacy between the 2 bathrooms! We separated the 2 bathrooms completely by walling in the half bath. We then upgraded the tub to a Kohler surround shower system with rain head handheld shower fixtures tying into the original tile in the full bath and we renovated the 1/2 bath completely. This gorgeous bath made for one happy customer!

This customer wanted to completely repurpose a space into a breakfast nook/pantry area…which was a first for us! We had so much fun working with this family. It was truly a collaboration! This album shows all of the phases off of a Remodel Envy project! This project started out with an initial design consultation. Once we have a rough idea of what you are looking for, we will create a 2-D/3D graphic design to map out the entire project. Check out this projects “before” and “during” picture! This project is a 2nd floor bungalow bathroom remodel; which included: a stunning herringbone-tiled wall, a modern and clean vanity and increased cabinet space for storage. We opened up the wall of an old closet/cabinet-space, hanging rock directly to roof rafters. This allowed us to set new cabinets topped with quartz. We added all new light fixtures with the Edison-style lightbulbs to give an old-school touch to the space. We tossed out the old curtain rod for a custom shower door that we retrofitted into the build. Lastly, we installed all matte-black fixtures to put the finishing touches on this one… Check it out! Now that winter is almost over and we all have spring on the brain, that means it’s time to start thinking about what outdoor projects you want to accomplish this year! In case you have a residential roof project on the brain, this album is showing you a recent one of ours. This project was a complete residential roofing makeover. We tore-off the old roof, all the way down to the existing decking on both the low-slope and pitched-roof decks. We stayed with rubber and installed a fully-adhered EPDM system on the low-slope deck.

We moved up from a 45-mil membrane to a 60-mil membrane. We also introduced 4” thick, 4’x4’tapered, ISO insulation sheet over the existing roof deck. This added a R-20+ insulation value to the dormer area of the home.
Around the rest of the home, we introduced sources of intake venting. There was minimal air intake sources around the home. We opted to install DCI Smart-vent intake product, 3-5 courses up from the top plate in the attic. This introduces an intake source of air, allowing the attic to breathe. This customer chose a Owens Corning Duration Designer series shingle, in the color ‘Storm Cloud’; which is fully backed by a lifetime-factory-warranty. As you can see from the pictures, the selected shingle color and the all-white seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts has exponentially increased the curb appeal and has made this home the new envy of the neighborhood!! Another exterior project we just wrapped up. This was a complete roof tear off and re-deck as needed. Chimney Tuck point with new Gutters & Down Spouts with Custom bent transition metals. This included a much needed air flow makeover. We introduced a intake source of venting with DCI Eave vent, and converted over to ridge vent for a more effective exit source of venting. This roof can now breathe! This is a Full Warrantied Owens Corning Duration Designer roofing system. Shingle Color Storm Cloud. This house has now joined the 3 houses in a row on the block of Owens Corning Duration Designer systems we’ve completed for our customers over the past few years. Definitely has a curb appeal to turn heads as latest Envy of the neighborhood.

Like we said, Remodel Envy - Roofing & Construction has had a very busy summer! Our customers are like family and we love helping them make their dream projects a reality! Being the envy of the neighborhood is wonderful but it is nothing next to the joy and pride you get when you walk into your home and you see an exquisite bathroom, basement or deck. The album that you are seeing here started out as an outdated, inefficient mud room. It was wasted space and wasn’t even being used. But when we were done, they had a stunning, modern gorgeous new bathroom.
