This time of year in my yard is sooooooo magical when the peonies and bridal wreath are blooming in unison. I so wish these blooms would last longer than a couple weeks😢. If anyone wants to get married tomorrow this bouquet is all yours!!!👰‍♀️🤵‍♀️

I know I’m wayyyyy behind in posting but here it is… Mother’s Day items!!!

I know she probably said “ Oh don’t get me anything” ,but you know as well as me that she won’t be mad if you did get her something. Flowers are always appreciated ( unless you are a stalker 😬🫤). Flowers are perfect for the Mom that has everything and needs nothing but a little beauty and cheer.

We were feeling the need to be extra colorful this year! We have calm and crazy and everything in between! We also just got our shipment of hanging baskets and planters. Little bit of a brag for our grower Central Iowa Floral… I’m 98% sure that their hanging baskets are THE most beautiful in Adair county and maybe even the state! The begonia/coleus/sweet potato vine combo is my favorite!!!

The entrepreneurial spirit is strong in the women in my family!!

My Mom owned an antique business, my Aunt ran a bird feeding store ,I run Colors, and now my daughter Violet wants in on the action.

Random side note ….3 of the 4 people listed all grew up in the same house. I’m the only one who didn’t, but I have owned and lived in that same house since 2005. So maybe’s the house has magic entrepreneurial powers 🤷‍♀️🪄

Violet has decided she wants to sell the things she loves most ( this year at least if you know Violet 😜) Blind boxes, squishies, crafts and other YouTube viral things

Happy Friday everyone!!!

All the plants are gone except for one big lonely rubber plant!!

I need some company and motivation,so we are having a sale!!! I also may have been on a shopping spree the past couple weeks and need some space for the new things 😬.

The yellow cart of deals ( that’s its new name I just came up with) has some amazing things waiting for you. The top two shelves are 50% off including some good brands that don’t go on sale often like the Swig cups-Geometry- and warmies.

The second part of our sale event today is FREE plant adoption day. Plants on this table are FREE to anyone who would like to try and save them from the neglect and mistreatment we have given them here. They are begging for someone to finally love them and take them to a caring plant home.

Judging by the temperature, you wouldn’t think it was prom night tonight! Thanks to my lovely assistant Chloe Ohms for helping me get some pictures taken this year

I hope you all have a great night. The kids who rented tuxedos and got flowers this year were some of the most kind, laid-back, and polite I’ve had in 18 years. Great work to all of you that are raising great soon-to-be adults!! You should be very proud !

Side note… it’s so hard to get flower pictures. These were so much prettier in person.
