This is a belated picture of the box that I put together for last week. I have to catch up on posting some of my recent projects that I haven't made time to post yet! Anyway, this was a cool order and I wanted to share!

(These coasters in the middle were from my first trial run of some epoxy coaster sets, I'm really pleased with how they came out!)

He was able to find the standing desk assembly online from with the motor and controls, and he found a riser and speakers in walnut to match the top! This project was a full blown party and I'm absolutely stoked to do more custom tables!

I did a bad job of sharing progress of the walnut standing desk top that I installed at my buddy's fancy home office this weekend. So here are some pictures of the process!

This project was a lot of firsts, one of them being these breadboard ends to give rigidity and structure to the table top, and to allow it to expand and contract during temperature and humidity changes. I was really excited to try this out, and it challenged me greatly!

20 test cuts later, I did it on the real thing. Quite a terrifying cut to make, but it came together beautifully!

Juice Groove Status - COMPLETE

I finished sanding and oiled this massive cherry cutting board this weekend as a gift for a buddy and it gave me a chance to try out my new router jig to cut a juice groove around the perimeter. Ya know, to catch the flowing monsoon of juices that flow when you pull that roast outta the instant pot, or slap some big fat ribeyes down to rest after they come off the grill.

Coming up with some cool add-ons that can be selected on the website when ordering a cutting board, and this is definitely going to be one of them! I am so happy with how it came out and I'm stoked to be adding this to the repitoir!

I found a youtube video for a DIY light box for product photography a few weeks ago by DIY Creators and it had free plans. So naturally I couldn't help myself and I slapped one together. I have been getting the hang of it, but it's much more advanced photography than I've ever done and there's so much to it.

I am definitely one who has always been fine with opening my camera and just clicking away. Who knew that there were so many settings to learn??? Haha it's been a lot of fun to set up my products and get some cool shots for the website that are more professional looking.

Nala was nervous about the ramp at first but now she's confident, and it's much safer for her to get on and off the bed for cuddles!
