It’s such a gratifying and awesome responsibility to help your friends and neighbors renovate or rebuild. This renovation has been particularly inspiring as our neighbor, who’s home was affected by a freak flash flood this summer, has given us an opportunity to help put the pieces back together again. Her old oak floors had to go, and we covered the whole first floor with tongue and groove plywood to add extra support and evenness, and we went back with a beautiful, hand sewn Acacia wood floor from to give it that wow factor. If you haven’t worked with Acaia wood before, check it out! It’s lighter than oak, harder and has a natural resin that makes it feel great on the feet and impervious to stains and odors. Seeing a massive smile on our neighbors face when she saw her new flooring was priceless. We love this town and this work! @ Latham Park, Guilford
