Update on surgery. Happy news!!! All went well and I am back in the nursery working today. Not 100% but so ready to be outside again. Come see us.

Not much happy news in this post. Fell and broke my wrist April 25th and will be having surgery on Friday May 10th. Have been working the nursery in a brace. Slowed me down but got too much to do to stop. We will be closed the day of surgery but plan on getting back to work ASAP. Thanks for your patience with this small set back. Life happens and we keep rolling along.

We are in full swing this season. Hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 7pm. Right now we have tomato plants, peppers, cucumbers available for just $1 each. Sure these will go fast at this crazy price.

Short hours tomorrow. 10am to 2pm. My grand daughter Maggie is graduating high school tomorrow. Super proud of her!!! Such a smart beautiful and talented young lady ready to enter the adult world.

Busy, busy, busy!!! Just wanted to show some things we are starting inside. Hyssop, jalapeno, bell, and ghost peppers, rhubarb and tomatoes! Also got in strawberry plants that are ready to plant now.

Happy almost Spring! Sorry I have been absent from my page so long but life sometimes gets in the way of things. We are opening March 1st and our new hours will be Closed on Monday and Tuesday. Open Wednesday through Sunday 10am to 7pm.

New additions to the Nursery!!! Mama Wren has built a nest in my cement mixer. Guess I will be mixing potting soil in the wheelbarrow for a few weeks.

Our new hours since I have retired are going to be Wednesday through Sunday 10am to 7pm. Gotta have a break on Monday and Tuesday to recoup and catch our breath. Plus have to have time to do the things that life demands like going to Walmart and the grocery store. But you all know I will work my schedule around my peeps. Love all my plant loving friends and come see us.

The Legend of the P***y Willow🎋🌷🎋🌷🎋

According to an old Polish legend, many spring times ago a mother cat was crying at the bank of the river in which her kittens were drowning. The willows at the river’s edge longed to help her, so they swept their long graceful branches into the waters to rescue the tiny kittens who had fallen into the river while chasing butterflies. The kittens gripped on tightly to their branches and were safely brought to shore. Each springtime since, goes the legend, the willow branches sprout tiny fur-like buds at their tips where the tiny kittens once clung.

Happy Spring !!!
