This 4th of July, I have the absolute HONOR of being the official photographer for the America 250 Decatur County Community Photo! We're recreating a historic photograph that was taken on our courthouse lawn way back in 1918, and I still can't believe I get to be a part of it.
You all know I live for love stories, growing families, and capturing life's biggest moments... but being trusted to photograph a piece of Decatur County history? That's something I'll never forget. Just thinking about future generations looking back at this photo gives me chills.

After the Tri Kappa 4th of July Parade, grab your family, your friends, your neighbors, and all those sweet kiddos and head to the courthouse lawn. Let's pack it full of the incredible people who make Decatur County such an amazing place to call home.
