This stunning 1930s Art Deco waterfall dresser went from vintage find to showstopping statement piece, full of Hollywood glamour and artistic flair. The curved silhouette was already beautiful, but the rich color and painted finish gave it an entirely new life.

Proof that paint doesn't just change furniture... it creates art. 🎨

I'm in California right now! I painted this piece in the early spring but it seems appropriate to be posting it today! Those palm trees!
I enjoyed painting this on my one of my favourite types of furniture! I love upcycling desks with fold down tables! They give me a great opportunity
to do something interesting on the front!
I was feeling exuberant and English Yellow as a base gave me the kick I needed with Barcelona Orange and a deeper backdrop for the painting' Using a mix of greens I roughly mixed the colors so I got the
unevenness in each brushstroke.
I allowed the brush shape and different pressures to make a row of light
hearted palm trees.
This piece gives me a great feeling of happiness 😊🎨
