Friend! Meet the yellow garden spider—one of the best allies in a veggie patch. 🕸️ These striking “writing spiders” (named for the zigzag pattern they make in their web) may look intimidating, but they’re gentle and incredibly helpful. They feast on pests like mosquitoes, and even grasshoppers which can damage crops (check out the one she caught in this web!).

By skipping pesticides, we make space for beneficial creatures like her to thrive—and in return, they help keep our gardens healthy and balanced. 🌿🐜➡️🕷️

Nature has its own pest control—sometimes we just need to step back and let it work.

This beautiful raised bed garden didn’t exist a few months ago.
It all started with an on-site consultation where we walked her yard, found the perfect sunny spot, and planned a kitchen garden that matched her time, space, and goals. I created a custom DIY garden design, and she brought it to life beautifully.
