Hello Friends! I have been busy working on my “She Shed Office” and I have a ton of work to do inside to make it pretty and since it is currently filled with furniture I need to have a “Clear the She Shed Staging Special!” It’s a thing, trust me...I bet it’s happening all over the world right now. 🤣 Basically it means I need to get my furniture out and into a home so I can put in electric and insulation and A/C and wait for it...shiplap!!! 🥰 So I need a house to stage! Hi friends! I am excited to say I am on the hunt for another house to stage!!! The last two houses sold in less than 30 days!! And one went on the market right as we started to shut down the showings!

Having a house staged allows buyers to see how furniture fits in a room. It gives them a picture of what the space looks like.

Staging a home is personal to me. I treat the home like it is MY home. I want the buyer to walk in and KNOW that this is where they want to be. I want them to see themselves living there right then.

It’s all about the pieces that welcome a buyer in. For me it’s the hunt, it’s knowing you found the perfect piece of furniture, but you can’t buy at a store and you have to have it... and then it’s following a stranger to a storage unit at 9pm because they forgot to get that perfect piece earlier and you need to dig through the boxes to find it! But, you know, I’ll do that for you. For the love of the home.

One of my favorite things about changing a space is incorporating the old with the new.

This original brick chimney is complimented by the “new” smooth, crisp white shiplap. Installing this faux shiplap in the half bath made the space seem so much larger! This was one of the updates we did prior to our home being on the Old Town Home Tour! (And I mean like 3 days before 800 people came through our house. I like to keep it interesting.) We kept the original medicine cabinet and since our home is heated by boiler heat these radiators act like art in each room.

Do you have stainless steel appliances? When we bought our fridge, we were told to use WD-40 on a microfiber cloth to keep fingerprints away and keep grime in the kitchen from landing on the appliances.

Once a month spray a little WD-40 on a microfiber cloth and rub the direction of the “grain” on the appliances. It will keep them shining all month and make them easy to clean when you need to!

My youngest would call this a . He is always looking for some new ones, do you have any neat WD-40 life hacks? Share with us!
