The tall grasses in the CRP planting are in full bloom, and I realize we are near the end of the 2025 growing season; I have been pretty quiet on here - we've been busy. All orders were filled, the potted daylily and beardless iris bed is restocked for 2026, a new bearded iris bed has been built and planted, two bearded iris areas have been lifted and reset, daylilies have been prepared for their winter dormancy period as we gear up for being a garden on the Region 1 AHS tour in 2026, and now we're onto cutting back iris and other end-of-season garden activities. Thank you all for another great year!

A sincere and heartfelt thank you for all who attended our daylily open gardens. We are grateful for each of you. Many familiar faces along with many new to the garden. It is always a pleasure to host fellow flower lovers. Next few weeks will be spent supporting the Lincoln Iris Society and Greater Omaha Iris Society with their annual sales- after that we’ll be digging our bearded iris orders.

Tuesday May 27th 3-7pm
Wednesday May 28th 3-7pm
Thursday May 29th 3- 7pm

No Saturdays this year.

Find us just off of County Rd A between Ceresco and Ashland. 9 miles east of Ceresco (stay on pavement until you see our sign) or 6 miles west of Ashland.

Cash, check or card.
Order bearded iris now for late summer receipt.

No public restrooms.

Tuesday May 20th 3-7pm
Wednesday May 21st 3-7pm
Thursday May 22nd 3-7pm

And the following week
Sunday May 25th 10 am-7 pm
Tuesday May 27th 3-7pm

We have aril bred iris blooming today 🙂 I wasn’t sure we would see any of these bloom this season as they were all reset in 2024. Sometimes a reset/moved/relocated iris won’t bloom the next season.
