Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from Benson High
School in 1977. After graduation I serviced in the US Air Force, for over 20 years working as a diet therapist in the nutritional medicine field.
After retiring from the Air Force, I worked 18 months as the director of the nutrition department in a health care facility. I was also hired at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research
as a Diet Technician and later worked as a Research Specialist.
In 2005, I was laid off due to a decrease of funding for projects
in the research department.
I saw the layoff as an opportunity to visit with my son who was in
the Army stationed in Belguim. During my visit, I took time to reflect and contemplate my next move. I had always loved working in my yard. I started helping my mother in law with her yard in Sherwood, OR. Soon I begin receiving multiple request for lawn service.
So, in 2006, I purchased a 1969 dodge pickup,a classic, to start Classic Lawn Service.

We are proud to celebrate our 10th year in the lawn care business. Established in 2006 after being laid-off from Kaiser Permanente. Working in the yard was my "relaxation time" who knew that 10 years later Classic would be going strong.

Spring is almost here and we are ready to SPRING into action. We will be officially starting the week of March 20th, weather permitting.

New Review from a Happy Customer: "Hired this company to do several projects in my front yard including sod removal, trimming of bushes and removal and hauling of deteriorating wooden walkway. Not only did their bid come in lower than anyone else, they were punctual, efficient and extremely courteous. I was extremely happy with the service they provided and will have them back again in the spring to handle more projects in the back yard. Brent was concerned with providing the best service possible and he did that most effectively."

Each year, as winter loosens it’s grip and the landscape starts to show small signs of life once again, we turn our thoughts to our lawns and how we can finally get that lush green grass we’ve always wanted.

However, most of us fight year after year without success, and sometimes it seems that the more effort we put into our lawns, the worse they look. This is most likely caused not by doing the wrong things, but by doing the right things at the wrong time and hurting our chances of getting a great looking lawn.

Having a lawn that is the envy of the neighborhood isn’t something that happens just because we water a little in the spring. Lawn maintenance is something we should be aware of all year, but springtime is where the real action happens.
