Bagworms are destructive insects that feed on the needles and leaves of many trees and shrubs, especially arborvitae, junipers, spruce, and cedar. They create small, spindle-shaped bags made from pieces of the plant they're feeding on, making them surprisingly easy to overlook until damage becomes severe.
