This kitchen in Norwich was small and “original” (to put it kindly.) we were able to expand into what was a carport, giving the clients an open, modern kitchen and dining area. Lots of natural light is brought in by the new skylights and Marvin windows and doors.

The cabinets and shelving are rift sawn white oak built in our custom cabinet shop. The clients did a great job with tile and color selection to compliment the warmth of the natural wood cabinets and the pristine wooded setting just outside the windows, and the radiant heat in the tile floor does a nice job with actual warmth, too. The choice to expose the structural I-beam lives well with the contemporary feel of the cabinets.

Here are some photos from our attic remodel project! This was an empty post and beam attic, and now it is a beautiful master bedroom suite. We were able to leave some of the original framing members exposed, and the bathroom vanity is made from some of the material we removed in demolition. All that is left is plumbing fixtures, shower glass, and a few finishing details on the stairs.
