As life goes on, I realize how lucky I am to be alive and in this country of rare freedom. Growing older and spending more days with my family I get to see how important life is. It also makes me remember that many of my military brothers and sisters didn’t get to come home. They gave literally everything they could to fight to keep this country safe. Their families have to live on without them there. Like a huge puzzle piece is missing. There are some who make it home but can never let go of the demons that followed them. So today, if you see a veteran thank him/her for their military brothers and sisters sacrifices.

Small roof repair with a bigger lesson 🔨 Simple fix this time - but preventative maintenance goes a long way.

Ice sliding from the upper roofline punched a hole through a few shingles. Replaced three shingles and sealed the area to get everything watertight again.

This is a good reminder how much damage ice can do if it’s not managed. Keeping gutters clear, addressing ice dams early, and adding proper snow guards or diverters in problem areas can help prevent this kind of impact damage.

Lawn mower came in for a simple fix… turned into a full overhaul 🔧

Replaced the drive cable and belts, but once we dug deeper it needed a new transmission too. Took care of a full service while we were at it - fresh blades, spark plug, air filter, oil change, and a full deck clean-out to get it cutting like new again. Ready for the season ahead!

And of course… picked up a little “helper” along the way 😂
He was working hard on some unexpected frame work to get everything dialed in.

Two garage doors, same problem: rot and termite damage at the base. Instead of a full replacement, we brought them back to life.

Cut out the damaged sections, inlaid new pressure-treated wood, and reinforced everything with through-bolts and added support along the back. Reinstalled trim cleanly to hide the new seals and upgraded all hardware to stainless to keep corrosion out of the picture.

Tightened the springs to handle the added weight and sealed the bottom properly this time to keep water from causing the same issue again.

Customer gets to keep their original doors - with a much longer life ahead of them. 🔧

This was one of four commercial bathrooms all getting a much-needed refresh. The spaces were ready for a little rejuvenation, and the client trusted us with full “chef’s choice” on the design.

Went with a clean, updated look with warm brass accents - just waiting on the finishing details to bring it all together! ✔️
