Red Osier Dogwood Shrubs are available For Sale $20 planted Bareroot in 3-Gallon Containers 12-17 inches tall. This tree is native to New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. This tree will grow to 10 feet tall when matures. The stems are bright red in color. Red Osier Dogwood produces white flowers in late spring and early summer with whitish, stone fruit with 2 seeds in late summer. Grows best on moist soils and can be found in wetlands areas along streams and flood plains. Zone 3-4 hardy. Produces fruit that is consumed by songbirds and game birds. Silky Dogwood Trees available For Sale for $20 each planted in 3-Gallon Containers. Currently, 20-25 inches tall, planted bareroot seedlings this spring. Silky Dogwood will grow to 10 feet tall when mature. Flowers from late June to early July produce white flat top flowers clusters. Fruits from August to October produce small bluish fruit. Fruit is consumed by game birds, migrating songbirds, deer and rabbits. Grows best in moist soils. Commonly used for hedgerows, windbreaks and stream bank erosion control. Shagbark Hickory Trees transplanted in 5-Gallon Containers available For Sale $25 each. Approximately 10 inches tall. Planted from bareroot tree seedling in May of 2026. Shagbark Hickory grows 70-100 feet tall at maturity (50 years old). Can grow in a variety of soils such as wet clay soils to sandy well drained soils in wet valleys to upland slopes. Leaves are compounded with 5 elliptical leaflets. Produces hickory nuts that mature in August. The Hickory nuts are elliptical or rounded 1 1/4-2 1/2 long husky thick dark brown and split to base four ways. Hickory nuts are consumed by a variety of wildlife such as squirrels, chipmunks, foxes, bears and rabbits. Will also be eaten by a variety of bird species such as mallards, wood ducks, turkeys and bob white quail. They can be consumed by humans (use caution). The nuts are described as having a sweet rich flavor and a cross between a pecan and a walnut. Less likely to be browsed by deer. Hazelnut grows to 10 feet tall and is a bushy tree that produces Hazelnuts from late July to September. The prized nuts (filberts) can be consumed by people, squirrels, Chipmunks, birds, (Jays) grouse, quail and pheasant. Flowers are produced in April and May. Grows best on dry sites. White Oak planted in 5-Gallon Containers For Sale $25 each. Approximately 10 inches - 14 inches tall. Planted from bareroot seedlings in May of 2026. White Oak grows 80 -100 feet tall at maturity (50 years old). White Oak and Red Oak are from the same family, and both belong to the Beech Family. The difference between the two is that the White Oak has rounded leaf tips whereas the Red Oak has pointed leaf tips. White Oak grows best on moist well drained soils on upland and lowland slopes. White oak also produces acorns that are 3/8 inches - 1 1/4-inch-long egg shaped with a cap and mature in one year. White oak also makes a great street or shade tree. Popular with small mammals such as squirrels and chipmunks but also eaten by other mammals such as raccoons, foxes, rabbits, deer and bears. Red Oak planted in 5-Gallon Containers available For Sale $25 each. Approximately 16 inches to 19 inches tall. Planted from bareroot tree seedling in May of 2026. Red Oak grows 60 feet to 90 feet tall at maturity (50 years old). Grows best in moist, loamy, sandy, clay and rocky soils, will grow on flat to steep slopes. Red Oak is best known for its acorns which are usually between 5/8 inch to 1 1/8 inch long, egg shaped with a cap on them which mature the second year of growth. Red Oak makes a great street or shade tree. Very popular with small mammals such as squirrels, chipmunks but also eaten by other mammals such as Raccoons, foxes, rabbits, deer and bears. Black Walnut grows to 70 feet - 90 feet tall at maturity (50 years old). Black Walnut are best known for its small baseball size (1 1/2 inch - 2 1/2 inch) nuts that have a dark green to brown husk, inside the husk are thick shelled walnuts. Grows best in well-drained soil, in wet areas, along streams and in flood plains. Sometimes found in or near water veins and or water springs. Mcintosh Apple Trees Semi-Dwarf Available For Sale for $70 each. Transplanted into 5-Gallon Buckets because the rootstock was so tall the apple trees wouldn’t fit into a 10-Gallon container. Transplanted into containers from Bareroot Trees seedling in May 2026. Approximately 45-47 Inches Tall. Hardiness Zone 4-8. Mcintosh Apple Trees are one of the most recognizable and popular apple tree varieties available in New Hampshire. Requested by customers so I ordered a few to see just how much demand there really is for Mcintosh Apple Trees. Mcintosh apple Trees were discovered by John Mcintosh on the Saint Lawence River in Canada in 1811. Semi-Dwarf Apple Tree grows from 10-15 feet tall at maturity. Mcintosh apples are famous for their sweet aroma and sweet tart taste. Great for making cider and apple sauces. Flowers in early spring and fruits early in August. Fruit is medium size red to green apple in color. Grows well in full sunlight. Prefers loamy well drained soils with a PH of 6.0-7.0.
