Today is Arbor Day! There isn’t a more perfect day than today to showcase our local hospital & one of their current projects.

Grundy County Memorial Hospital recently expanded to improve the facility infrastructure, enlarge space, improve patient privacy, and ensure patient safety needs are being met in three key areas: imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. Precision Lawn Care is pleased to manage the grounds of our local hospital, including the landscape & architect of this most recent project. The landscape portion of the project kicked off over the last couple of weeks and just this week- we planted 30 trees. Over the next month, we will plant over 900 trees, evergreeens, shrubs & perennials!

Our concrete crew has been laying concrete for the new walking path, as well.

Due to increased business and demand, Precision Lawn Care & More LLC is looking for a dependable, safety conscious, self-motivated, and organized candidate with an adequate knowledge of the Lawn & Ground maintenance industry, a good driving record, and a positive attitude.
Crew workers are responsible for providing quality services such as:
1. Lawn mowing and trimming
i. Zero turn mowers
ii. W**d eater
iii. Backpack blowers
iv. Rake/shovel
2. Leaf and debris cleanup
3. Lawn aeration
4. Cleaning gutters
5. Other related property labor tasks
Must be able to abide by all safety standards and operate related equipment. Crew workers are responsible for driving a company vehicle to and from job sites with the possibility of pulling a trailer with equipment.
Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday with some weekends required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Due to increased business and demand, Precision Lawn Care & More LLC is looking for a dependable, safety conscious, self-motivated, and organized candidate with an adequate knowledge of the Lawn & Landscape industry, a good driving record, and a positive attitude.
A successful candidate will have customer service, problem solving, and operational & control skills with attention for detail.
Candidate has to be able to operate ride-on ground application equipment safely with the ability to multitask operation controls, other application equipment, and a truck & trailer to transport equipment.
Position will involve mixing and/or applying pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation, or chemical application on lawns, and maintaining clear and accurate records of all work required to be maintained daily.
Position requires State of Iowa Certified Pesticide Applicators License with categories 3OT as well as a valid driver's license.
Experience, extended education, and current pesticide licensing preferred but not required.
Testing is required to obtain pesticide licensing. Paid training will be provided.
