It’s funny how life works.

This little girl has spent her life growing up between parking lots and dance studios. One teaching her the value of hard work. The other teaching her the confidence to believe in herself.

At Moffett & Sons, our kids have grown up right alongside this business. One weekend they’re helping Mom and Dad, covered in paint, sealcoat, and job site dust. The next, they’re chasing their own dreams under the bright lights of a stage.

Today, our littlest Moffett takes the stage for her 4th dance recital at just 5 years old! When she started at Legacy School of Dance at only 1 year and 9 months old, she was scared. Mom danced beside her. Then Dad danced beside her. Because that’s what parents do when their little girl isn’t quite ready.

But somewhere along the way, this dance studio became more than a place to learn routines. It became her safe place. A place where her confidence grew, her smile got bigger, her moves got sharper, and she learned to trust herself.

And now? Now she’s ready! Ready to step onto that stage. Ready to believe in herself. Ready to shine.

And that’s what makes today so emotional. Not the dance. The growth. The journey. The beautiful little girl she’s becoming.

Maddie, your sparkle isn’t the glitter on your costume, it’s the light you carry everywhere you go. Whether you’re helping us on a job site or dancing your heart out on stage, we will always be your biggest fans.

We couldn’t be more proud of you, baby girl.

Some jobs are about paint and pavement. This one is about the kids.

There’s something special about building a court where memories will be made, shots will be taken, confidence will grow, and friendships will be built. It means even more when it’s for kids I’ve had the privilege of coaching along the way.

Thank you for trusting Moffett & Sons with your project. We can’t wait to see this court filled with laughter, competition, and countless summer memories as these kids put in the work and get stronger for next season.

There’s nothing better than seeing a freshly paved lot come to life with crisp, clean striping.

Today we’re celebrating one of the reasons Moffett & Sons means so much to us, Happy 8th Birthday Hunter!

Some kids collect toys. You collect paint stains, sealer marks, truck rides, and memories from job sites across Connecticut.

You’d rather be riding the line striping machine than sitting at home. You’d rather be helping than watching. And somehow, no matter the job, you never leave without making us smile.

Most kids see parking lots, you see adventure. You see an opportunity to learn something new. You see time with Dad.

And honestly, that’s what this business has always been about. Not parking lots, not paint, not sealcoating. Family.

The late nights, the laughs, the lessons. The memories we’re making along the way.

Watching you grow up alongside this business has been one of the greatest gifts of our lives. One day, the jobs will be forgotten, the paint will fade, and the parking lots will belong to someone else. But the memories of having you by our side through it all are the ones we’ll carry forever.

Keep being you Hunter. Loving, funny, brave, adventurous, a little wild, a little stubborn, and completely unforgettable.

Seven years in business, and not very often has my wife been out in the field with me. She’s always been the one behind the scenes, taking the calls, scheduling the jobs, walking the sites, and keeping our family moving.

Since her medical scare almost six months ago, life has looked a little different.

Last night I found the dime. A little while later, she found the penny. Eleven cents. Medium Lisa OConnor taught us that’s our girl.

Maybe it’s her way of reminding us we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

Look for the signs ❤️

The drone photos are back, and they do not disappoint.

A huge thank you to Vale Sports Club for trusting Moffett & Sons with bringing new life back to your parking lot. Seeing the finished project from above is a great reminder that every line, every detail, and every late night is worth it when the final product comes together like this.

This is Moffett & Sons.

Not because of the trucks, not because of the equipment, not because of the jobs we complete.

Because of this.

Bentley out there working his tail off, taking pride in every bucket, every broom, every ounce of effort he puts in.

Hunter wanting to do absolutely everything because he doesn’t want to miss a second of it. My little shadow, my mini-me.

Maddie proving once again that being the smallest doesn’t mean being the weakest. She wanted her hands dirty, wanted to help, wanted to be part of the team, and she showed up ready to work.

And Maggie, the heart of this family. Not even close to 100%, still fighting through things most people will never fully understand, yet there she was. Showing up, helping, supporting, loving us through it all.

As I looked around today, I felt something bigger than pride. Gratitude.

Because one day these kids will be grown. One day they won’t be climbing into the truck, fighting over who gets the blower, or asking if they can help with just one more thing. One day these moments will be memories.

But today? Today they were right here beside us. Learning the value of hard work. Learning the value of family. Learning that when you’re a Moffett, you show up for each other.

This business has never really been about parking lots. It’s been about building something worth passing down.
And standing there today, surrounded by my family, I realized we’re already doing exactly that.

A very proud dad. A very grateful husband. A very blessed life.
