Excited to announce I just enrolled in the Western Herbalism course at TRADITIONS HERB SCHOOL in Saint Pete. It's something I've wanted to do for quite a while but the timing was never quite right and now I understand why.

My recent experience with Akathisia and Anhedonia has compelled me to study herbalism with the specific intent of learning how best to help people suffering from these hellish conditions.

This morning Barry and I direct seeded some Sunn H**p into the Soil Builder he got from the city. --Sunn H**p is a very fast growing annual and will reach up to 6 feet tall within 60 days so it will make a great temporary living fence.

It's also a legume, which means it's able to capture atmospheric nitrogen and store it in it's roots. Once the plant reaches the end of it's life cycle Barry will chop it down --at which point the nitrogen in the roots will be released into the soil and fertilize surrounding plants. The rest of the plant's biomass will breakdown and build up the soil.

In a few days Barry will be planting (perennial) Bolivian Sunflower Bushes just to the North of the row of h**p seeds. By the time the h**p is chopped down the Sunfowers will have grown to their mature height--becoming the Permanent living fence.

Some of my stock includes: Lemon grass, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Parsley, Dill, Pigeon Pea Trees, Chocolate Pudding Trees, Jack Fruit Trees, Mulberry, Dragon Fruit Cacti, Elderberry, Peruvian Apple Cacuts, Bolivian Sunflower, Blue Mist Flowers, Sunshine Mimosa groundcover, Dune Sunflower, Tree Spinach, wild strawberries, comfrey and more.

--I also have starts for Everglades Tomatoes, Luffa gourds and Pigeon Peas that will be ready for purchase in a few weeks.
