As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to thank our wonderful customers for supporting our family-owned business and allowing us to help make your homes and gardens beautiful.

🎆 We will be CLOSED on July 4th and 5th so our team can enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

💧🌸 PLANT FLOWERS, SAVE WATER? YES, REALLY!

It may seem surprising, but adding the right plants to your landscape can actually help conserve water—especially here in Colorado!

A well-planned landscape filled with drought-tolerant flowers, perennials, shrubs, and groundcovers helps shade the soil, reduce evaporation, and improve water retention. Bare soil and large expanses of rock can heat up quickly, causing moisture to evaporate faster and increasing stress on surrounding plants.

When shopping for plants, look for varieties labeled:
☀️ Full Sun
💧 Drought Tolerant
🔥 Heat Resistant
🌿 Xeric or Water Wise

Some of our favorite Colorado performers include:
• Lavender
• Yarrow
• Russian Sage
• Blanket Flower (Gaillardia)
• Penstemon
• Catmint
• Sedum
• Coneflower (Echinacea)

These plants thrive in Colorado’s intense sun, handle dry conditions, attract pollinators, and require less supplemental water once established.

Remember: “Drought tolerant” doesn’t mean “never water.” New plants need regular watering while establishing strong root systems. Once established, they’ll reward you with beautiful blooms while using significantly less water than thirsty traditional landscapes.
