New Onyx Black Durations going down in Maple Shade, NJ on this beautiful sunny Monday.
Make sure your “roofer” is licensed and insured to do actual roofing work. Many insurance companies EXCLUDE roofing installations (residential and/or commercial) from their coverages, unless the contractor actively seeks and purchases insurance coverage for these specific scopes of work.
Be careful to not get a little drafty dormer or leaky roofing using the company (but not really a company 😉) off Facebook who can’t or doesn’t provide an active New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor license number (NJHIC #) and Certificate of Insurance (COI). Truth be told, you aren’t supposed to have to request it, it’s supposed to be on all marketing/quotes/ads/signage/etc. Ask to see their insurance policy for roofing coverages as well. You might be surprised 😳🔍🕵🏻♂️.
