Our goals are to keep Haddonfield residents informed on the local issues we face as well as giving every citizen in town a right to have their opinion heard. We also wish to support and promote business to the hard working busines

PRSL #322 was a northbound train consisting of ten Budd RDCs. This train was blocking Lincoln Avenue, and the front almost reached Kings Highway. The back of the train is in the foreground of this image which was taken on September 5, 1955, Labor Day. It was probably carrying vacationers home. It was a combination of 3 local trains that had originated in Cape May, Wildwood and Ocean City. The advantage of the self-propelled Budd cars was that they could be joined together on the connecting track that ran up the mainland behind the barrier shore islands to form one large train. Budd cars did not cross the Delair bridge into Philadelphia, so this train ended in Camden. People going to Philadelphia would get off in Haddonfield and get on a following train that went across the bridge.
