But he’s exactly why this step matters. Floor prep done right: how we prepare your subfloor for a flawless finish.

When you hire a flooring company, you judge them on the finished floor. But the truth is, the quality of that finished floor is decided long before the first plank goes down. It’s all in the prep, and it’s the part that has to stand up to pets, kids, furniture, and years of daily foot traffic.

Here’s what proper subfloor prep looks like on our jobs:
