A generous land owner donated 25 logs to the Prescott High School today. Not only did they cut them to a specific length, they generously hauled the logs to a landing and loaded up the HYTS trailer 5 times. Truly amazing effort and overly thankful for the quick half a day's work! Thanks to the Abbi Larson Nawrocki family!!!

HYTS is proud to have helped high schools in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Georgia, Kentucky, and Connecticut. Their high school forest to furniture programs have taken off with shared program information, running just a little more smoothly and while all the important actions are happening, these schools are also saving and generating funding for their program's longevity.

Closing out the week with presenting at the WTEA conference about workforce development in the woods industry, providing schools with a more in depth woods program, and working with tree removal companies to provide schools with logs. It was amazing timing that TCIA Magazine published an article on our program and how tree companies across the nation can help their local students be more workforce ready before graduation. A cloud 9 week. It is, all about our students. I'm very thankful for these amazing opportunities and our hard working students.
