I just wanted to share a project that we're currently working on. I'll update you all when it's finished, but we are in the process of removing rot and replacing it with pressure-treated wood and redoing everything correctly so the deck will last a lot longer. On one side of the deck, it had completely fallen through because a post had completely rotted out, causing the rim joist to fall down about a foot. On the side where the hot tub was, so we're having to jack everything up to level and replace all the rotten rim joist posts and joists.
