Returning to W. R. MEADOWS with new experiences and a fresh perspective, Andrew Seyller has joined our Hampshire, IL headquarters as a Continuous Improvement Intern.

Andrew is currently a senior studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and previously spent two summers with W. R. MEADOWS supporting quality control and data entry initiatives. Most recently, he completed a process engineering co-op with SABIC before returning to help support continuous improvement projects across our Hampshire facility.

In his new role, Andrew will work alongside Continuous Improvement Lead Leo Flores to identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support a safer workplace.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys wildlife and nature photography, hiking, and working on computers. He also recently participated in the 2026 Ireland St. Patrick’s Day Parade as a member of the University of Illinois Marching Illini.

Congratulations to Margi Modi, W. R. MEADOWS Technical Sales Representative for our Milton Ontario branch, on earning her Certified Technical Representative (CTR) designation through Construction Specifications Canada (CSC)!

Since joining W. R. MEADOWS just a year and a half ago, Margi has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth and technical excellence. Earning the CTR designation required completing CSC’s Principles of Construction Documents course, participating in weekly classes, passing a comprehensive written exam, and successfully presenting before a panel.

This achievement reflects Margi’s dedication to expanding her knowledge of construction specifications, documentation, and industry collaboration, while strengthening her ability to support architects, consultants, contractors, owners, and project teams across the construction industry.

🎉 Congratulations to Salvador Olvera on celebrating 10 years with W. R. MEADOWS!

Since joining our Northern California Branch in 2016 as a Cure Assistant, Salvador has demonstrated a strong commitment to learning, growth, and operational excellence. Over the past decade, he has taken on increasing responsibilities across multiple departments and now serves as Cure Plant Supervisor, helping lead daily operations and support our continued success.

💡 Pavement Maintenance Tip: Not all crack and joint sealants perform the same when temperatures change.

One of the biggest challenges in pavement preservation is finding a sealant that stays flexible year-round. A sealant that becomes brittle in cold weather can crack and fail, while one that softens too much in warm weather can track and create maintenance issues.

When sealing joints in concrete pavements or random cracks in asphalt surfaces, look for products that remain pliable through seasonal temperature swings. Flexible sealants help accommodate pavement movement while maintaining a durable seal against water intrusion and debris.

Throughout his career, Scott has served in several leadership positions, including beginning as an Inside Sales Representative at our Hampshire facility, General Manager of W. R. Meadows of Arizona, General Manager of Northern California, Western Regional Sales Manager, and today, Vice President of our Western Division. Along the way, he helped lead major facility expansions, manufacturing improvements, and operational growth across the western United States.
