Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately. 💛
Life has been extra full around here between illnesses, surgery recovery, D’s birthday, t-ball season, and the everyday chaos that comes with raising a big family. Some days it feels like I’m constantly playing catch-up but honestly, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. A big, healthy family is such a blessing, even in the chaos.
That said, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about Mama Duck’s Kitchen and how to make things work better for both my family and our customers. While the pre-order model hasn’t gained as much traction as I hoped, I am hearing so much excitement about the baked goods themselves… so I’m thinking about switching things up a bit!
🧁What would everyone think about a driveway pop-up bake stand a couple weekends each month?
The idea would be:
• A variety of fresh baked goodies available first come, first served
• Hosted right at my home in the Buckroe area of Hampton
• Announced about a week in advance each time
• Open Saturdays and Sundays
• Honor-system style with a cash box + QR codes for electronic payments
If there’s enough interest and it goes well, I’d love to expand the days and offerings over time.
