Fiancé’s birthday is tomorrow, so back into the kitchen I go to bake more cupcakes tonight.

And because I clearly don’t have enough going on, I’ll also be spending this week baking, photographing and preparing everything for the fall preorder launch this coming Sunday 🤦🏻‍♀️

So at this point, I am running on sheer determination, a concerning amount of caffeine and pure delusion.

The outpouring of love and support I’ve received over the last couple days has been absolutely unreal.

I just thought I was sharing a frustrating update and setback. I had no idea I was about to find out just how many people were actually rooting for me. I never imagined so many people would ever even see little ol me in my little corner of the world. 🥹

The messages, comments, shares, event invites, other bakers wanting to work together to change things for the betterment of everyone, local businesses reaching out, and SO many people asking how they can buy my baked goods… I’m honestly overwhelmed in the best ways possible.

And just to be clear, Mama Duck’s is still very much OPEN and I’m still baking! The little yellow stand may be on pause for now, but the bakery isn’t going anywhere. I’ll be opening up pre-orders soon, so keep an eye out!

Thank you. Seriously. You guys have no idea what this has meant to me. ❤️❤️

🥴😅WHEW. We survived our bake stand soft opening!

We learned SO much, figured out a million things on the fly, and let's just say... some lessons will stick forever.

Through all the chaos, you guys showed up. You stopped by, bought my goodies, shared our posts, left sweet comments and cheered on this ridiculous little dream of mine while I figured out what the hell I was doing.

I seriously cannot thank you enough.🥹

Now give me a couple weeks to regroup, get my s**t together and come back with a bigger menu, a better setup and a proper GRAND OPENING.

And I really hope you'll stick around, because I have so much planned for this little yellow stand. 💛

Soooo… better late than never! DAY TWO of our soft opening is stocked!

Today we’ve got jumbo cookies, fudgy brownies, Rice Crispy Treats, Oreo Puppy Chow and fresh dinner rolls.

AND we officially have gluten-free goodies!

This weekend has already taught me approximately 328647 things, but seeing this ridiculous little idea actually sitting in my driveway full of baked goods makes the chaos worth it. 🥹🩵
