We got to help bring this outside patio area to life, they have made a pretty impressive transformation. The unveiling is this Sat, Oct 5, swing by and check it out. It is a great place to visit and have a taste.

After several weeks of hard work, and trying to survive the 90* temps, we completed the 2nd phase of this project. (the 1st was the pool installation) We completed the paver pool deck and patio area (which was divided into a firepit area and a larger entertaining area)
Still to come will be the installation of a pavilion, seating wall, landscaping, lawn restoration and a few other misc items....stay tuned!!

All of us here at Virginia Landscapes & Morris Lawn would like to wish you the best for a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend. As you are out enjoying the beach, in a boat out on the water, hiking the mountains, cooking out, or just enjoying time with family and friends.......let's not forget the meaning behind this weekend!! It is to celebrate and honor all of those in the military.......present and past.....who have sacrificed in order to provide us the freedoms that we enjoy. If you know someone serving in the military or retired or just a random person in uniform......buy them a burger....hand them a beer....or just shake their hand and say THANK YOU!!!!

We took this drab area and dressed it up with some pavers and river stone. Also, could not get anything to grow, so we added in some compost to the soil .....the new plants and sod seem to be loving it!!

Beautiful weather is upon us....time to get outside and enjoy the yard. Looking to plant some pots for the porch or deck, but your pots are showing their age. Give this a try....we used a mix of baking soda and water, a firm bristle brush and a bit of elbow grease to really bring these pots back to life.
