From worn out… to reliable heat. 🔥

This system had seen better days — and with issues in the heat exchanger/burner area, it was time for a safe and dependable upgrade.

We installed a new high-efficiency furnace and cleaned up the setup to give this homeowner peace of mind moving forward.

Last night’s call was a good reminder of why we do what we do.

We found a failed heat exchanger, which led to heavy soot buildup in the venting — a condition that can become dangerous if left unchecked. The homeowner was without heat, and with cold temperatures coming, waiting until morning wasn’t an option.

So we stayed after hours to safely replace the furnace and make sure this family went to bed warm. We also upgraded the system with a media cabinet filter to improve airflow and indoor air quality.

Situations like this are exactly why a maintenance program is so important. Routine inspections can often catch heat exchanger issues early — before they turn into emergency replacements or safety concerns.

If your furnace hasn’t been checked in a while, it’s worth having it looked at. Peace of mind goes a long way in the middle of winter.

No matter how old your furnace is always a good idea to get yearly maintenance. This was a furnace that we replaced earlier this week after a no heat call. Found a plugged heat exchanger that was leaking and discharging high levels of CO. Would have been found on a fall p.m. Early detection can prevent this and keep your home safe for your family!
