Today we got to replace a solid slab front door with a new modern door. The old door leaked air terribly and once it was out we realized there 2as no insulation or silicone anywhere. Well the new door is well insulated and sealed up. We also added J trim to the metal siding to give it a more finished look.

Started a deck a couple weeks ago, was suppose to be a simple replace decking boards, we found that almost every joists was rotted out and that there wasn't near enough structural support for a deck 22 ft wide and 32 ft long. We added 2 new beams and beefed up the existing 2. All new joists, then we added cross members to make everything solid. At the owners request we used flashing tape to help protect all the new wood.

For my last room let's go with the long bed room on the first floor, not much done here. Added a door to the opening, closed a doorway off. Took half of the large closet for the hvac system. Then of course pictures at the end with its listing.

Ok now time to show the kitchen transformation. Removed door way heading to the back porch, created the 42 inch opening....

Ok now time to show the kitchen transformation. Removed door way heading to the back porch, created the 42 inch opening. Changed the direction of the stairs to the dinning room. Uncovered and removed two more doors. All new lighting and fully updated with more outlets too.

So for today is the Living room and dinning room transformation. We had hopes of an actual fire place but no luck on that front. We removed a wall to pen the space, tore out ceilings ran all new electrical. But of course I felt this house needed a fire place. We removed a door way into the first bed room that was in the dinning room as well.

The back porch was fun, termite damage to all of the walls. We jacked up the structure and rebuilt everything. Took the 32 inch door out, put a 36 inch in. Downsized the windows, removed one, added heat and air as well. We also moved the interior door and created a 42 inch opening.
