HOW IT ALL STARTED...
Most people see the finished driveway or parking lot. What they don’t see is the journey it took to get here.
Between Danny and I, we have over 60 years of combined experience in the asphalt industry. Before starting Blackout Custom Sealcoating & Asphalt LLC, I spent 30 years working in highway and bridge maintenance. Danny spent 33 years in building and grounds maintenance. Those years taught me that doing the job right the first time matters and that your reputation is built by integrity, honesty, and the quality of your work.
When we started this company, we didn’t have a fleet of trucks or a yard full of equipment. I had a 300-gallon seal tank, a vision, and a willingness to work harder than anyone else. I knocked on doors, introduced myself to people, shook hands, and built relationships one customer at a time.
Everything we’ve built has come through long days, hard work, honesty, and treating people the way we’d want to be treated. Nothing was handed to us, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
As we’ve grown, one thing has never changed ,our commitment to doing quality work with integrity and standing behind every job we do.
To everyone who has trusted us with your driveways, parking lots, businesses, churches, and properties over the years, thank you. Your support has meant more than you know. Every recommendation, every share, every phone call, and every opportunity has helped us build this company.
I know there are other good contractors out there, and I respect anyone who’s willing to work hard for what they have. There’s plenty of opportunity for people who are willing to earn it.
