Me: what’s the story on the fireplace is it
working or not working

Homeowner: well for the last 3 weeks it’s been coming on and going off by itself

Me: sounds like you need an exorcist not me

Long story short they had their remote set on thermostat mode I switched it back for them and showed them what to do if it gets accidentally set in that mode again
