Today is The Raven’s very first day at “work”! He’s officially in training to help hold down the Candle Studio while the girls are away next weekend. (Stop by and say hi to the boys on Saturday 9/11)🕯️🐦‍⬛

Will he learn everything he needs to know? Probably.
Will he behave himself? Questionable.
Will they regret giving him this much responsibility? TBD. 😂

Well, well, well… look who finally remembered to make a post to their social media page. 😂🖤🔥🐦‍⬛

It’s been a hot minute since you’ve seen our faces around here, but don’t worry—The Phoenix & The Raven are still very much alive, kicking, and creating chaos in the Nest.

Life got busy. Side quests happened. Things were made. Coffee was consumed. You know… the usual. 😂

But we’re still here, still creating, and still incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to follow along with our little weird corner of the world. 🖤

The ADHD has officially entered the chat… and the side quests have begun. 😂🌿

While I’m waiting to hear back on a few projects I’m supposed to be working on, my brain said, “Ooooh, you know what we could do instead?!” 😏

So naturally, I have:

✨ Successfully finished my workshop for the upcoming women’s retreat (Green Women Gathering if you are curious. We have just a few spots left open!)
✨ Started working on a little surprise gift for all of the participants
✨ Immediately ruined the “surprise” by telling you all about it 😂

Is this what I planned to accomplish today? Nope.

Am I being productive anyway? Absolutely.

Sometimes you just have to follow the dopamine and see where the side quest takes you. 😂🌱

Now… back to the regularly scheduled projects. Maybe. Probably. No promises. 😬

We're baaaacccckkkk!
The Phoenix & The Raven took a little summer break from the Nest, but the creative chaos is officially calling us back. 😏
And apparently, we decided to come back swinging because this weekend’s to-do list is FULL:
💍 Wedding signs
👶 Baby signs
🌿 The Phoenix working on stuff for her women’s retreat next month
✨ And probably at least 47 other things we’ll remember halfway through the weekend...
But first? COFFEE. Because we’re crafty, not magical. Well… maybe a little magical. 🔮
We’re kicking off the morning with some delicious locally roasted goodness from Ghouls and Grinds, brewed in our pour-over coffee maker we snagged from another local favorite, Cultivated Essentials Co. ☕🖤
Add in a protein-packed breakfast (eggs seasoned by Tony Chachere's, a must have in our home) to fuel the creative madness, and we are READY.
The laser is about to be lasering.
The paint is about to be painting.
The Nest is about to be a disaster again.
Nature is healing. 😂

Today we spent the day collaborating with an amazing couple on custom pieces for their wedding, and honestly? We LOVE this part of what we do. Give us an idea, a theme, a vibe, or even a half-baked Pinterest board, and we'll help turn it into something uniquely yours.

Proof that I've always been... well... me. Just with a different haircut, fewer responsibilities, and significantly better eyesight. 👓😂

Honestly, younger me had absolutely no clue she'd grow up to run a little business, help coordinate women's retreats, make cool stuff, and somehow get excited about things like buying a new laser or finding a good farmers market.

Life has been one wild plot twist after another, and I wouldn't trade the journey.

We love you. Your wildfire smoke? Not so much. 😅

Just checking in on our little flock. Is everyone staying hydrated, keeping the windows closed, and trying not to breathe in the spicy air?

If you have to venture outside, maybe skip the marathon, wear a mask if needed, and remember that this is the perfect excuse to stay inside and online shop for spooky goodies. We're just saying... 👀🖤

Stay safe, Nestlings. We'd much rather see you at fall markets than coughing your way through summer.

🫐 Guess who's at the Blueberry Festival? Us. 😏
We're all set up and causing just the right amount of trouble until 4 PM next to our friend, Jen B. Come wander the festival, support some seriously awesome artisan vendors, eat your weight in blueberries, and stop by the Nest for handcrafted goodies that are way cooler than whatever's sitting in your Amazon cart.
🚨 PSA: This is our LAST event until fall. That's right. After today, we're disappearing into the workshop like crafty little goblins until cooler weather returns.
So if you've been saying, "I really need to stop by your booth sometime," ...consider this your sign. Don't make us haunt your social media with "you should've bought it" posts. 😉
