We’re kicking off another basement remodel for Bell Carpentry LLC! 🔨

🔥 FINISHED PROJECT! 🔥

This 1,300 sq. ft. home at Rough River Lake got a complete flooring transformation!

We removed ALL of the existing subfloor throughout the 1,300 sq. ft. home, installed new subfloor, and then installed brand-new laminate flooring throughout.

From a completely stripped-down subfloor to a finished floor that completely transforms the look of the home! 💪🏼

🔥 1,300 SQ. FT. SUBFLOOR REPLACEMENT! 🔥

This project was a BIG one!

We completely removed ALL of the existing subfloor throughout this 1,300 sq. ft. house. Between staples, nails, screws, and liquid nail, getting the old subfloor up was no easy task! 💪

Once everything was removed, we installed new subfloor throughout the entire house, followed by installing new waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring.

Huge amount of work, but the finished product will be great!

Subfloor Replacement — The Part You Don’t See

What started as a 1,300 sq. ft. laminate flooring job turned into a full subfloor replacement.

After about 32 hours of fighting staples, nails, screws, and liquid nails, we finally got the old subfloor completely removed.

Now it’s time to start laying the new subfloor and getting everything back flat, solid, and ready for the finished flooring.

A lot of the work that goes into doing a job correctly never makes it into the final picture. This is the kind of stuff that happens behind the scenes to make sure the finished product is done right — not just covered up.

No cutting corners. We’re doing it right from the bottom up. 💪🔨

1300 SQ. FT. FLOORING PROJECT — AND THEN WE FOUND THIS.

What started out as a straightforward 1,300 sq. ft. laminate flooring installation quickly turned into a lot more once we got the existing flooring removed.

After getting everything opened up, we checked the subfloor throughout the house and found significant waves and uneven areas. Installing the new flooring directly over it would have meant compromising the finished product.

So instead of covering the problem up and moving on, we’re addressing it the right way before the new floor goes down.

A lot of the work that goes into a quality finished product isn’t always what you see when the job is complete. It’s what’s underneath it that makes the difference.

We’re just getting started on this one. We’ll keep posting the progress as we bring this floor back to where it needs to be. 🔨

Another bathroom transformation complete!

We gave this bathroom a fresh new look while also making it more functional and accessible.

🚧 Bathroom Remodel – Work in Progress

Here’s a look at where we’re at on this bathroom remodel so far.

We’ve installed:
• New toilet
• New flooring
• New WetWall shower panels
• New drywall
•Teak wood folding seat
•Chrome Grab bar

One thing you don’t always see in the finished product is the work that happens behind the walls and underneath everything. A lot of time goes into properly bracing and blocking the shower area, securing everything where it needs to be, and making sure the foundation is solid before the finish materials ever go up.

The finished product may be what catches your eye, but the quality of the job starts with the work you don’t see. 🔨

Still working on this one — we’ll share the finished bathroom when it’s all wrapped up!
