Job Description
We are searching for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator that has experience in operating a variety of our Equipment which includes but not limited to: Dozer, Excavator, Loader, Blade, etc.. The Heavy Equipment Operator's duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials, and liaising with coworkers to ensure that the projects are completed accurately. You will be required to conduct your duties in a safe, diligent manner at all times.

Experience:
• Digging in all ground conditions
• Digging deep ditches for water & sewer pipe
• Running all size excavators
• Handling street plates and pulling trench boxes
• Setting manholes and structures
• Digging on crane mats in wet conditions
• Digging around and under utilities
• Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
• Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment.
• Observing stipulated safety codes at all times.
• Reporting injuries and other accidents to the line manager.
• Advising the line manager of requisite upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses.
• Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• A sound understanding of safety guidelines.
• Capacity to provide and follow directions.
• Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
• Ability to work extended hours, as required.

• 7am – 6pm (will vary depending on workload)

We are looking to hire experienced Concrete Finishers who can expertly pour, level and smooth concrete on a variety of surfaces including roads, sidewalks, curbs, and floors. You may also be required to set the forms that hold the concrete in place, patch existing surfaces, cut expansion joints and monitor the curing of the concrete to ensure a high-quality finish.

To be a successful Concrete Finisher, you must possess the skills necessary for the trade and be familiar with the latest concrete pouring technology. Must be willing to travel for work. You should also be physically fit and be able to stand for long periods of time, work on your knees, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors in high heat and cold weather.
Concrete Finisher Responsibilities:

Setting forms that hold concrete in place.
Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.
Directing the casting of the concrete with the truck driver.
Pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed. This includes handheld tools and power tool versions.
Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process.
Applying sealing and hardening components.
Safely operating power vi****or to ensure concrete is compacted.
Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
Polishing surface using a power surfacing machine.
Concrete Finisher Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' work experience as a concrete laborer or mason.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours.
Ability to kneel for long periods.
Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vi****ors, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
Able to work shifts, at night and on public holidays as required.
Pay is weekly and based on experience.
