Revitalizing this compact kitchen was a substantial undertaking, as the space required a complete makeover to realize its full potential. The renovation included refinishing the cabinets and painting the entire room. The cabinets were the starting point, with new offset hinges and handle pulls being installed. Prior to sanding, most doors and drawers underwent a thorough cleaning due to significant wear, with the same attention given to the structural elements. All surfaces were sanded, and in many cases, this involved stripping them down to the wood surface due to extensive wear and water damage. After priming all surfaces the cabinets were then finished in BM Advance (Gray Owl), and the walls were painted in a complementary color, BM Classic Gray. The bright, clean finish effectively opened up the smaller kitchen, showcasing its full potential in a remarkable transformation!

One year after completing interior work for the homeowners, I have returned to this home to focus on the exterior, which was in need of TLC. The front door, shutters, trim crown, and columns were prepped and painted. BM Regal Select and BM Grand Entrance were used for the shutters and front door. (Color: Hudson Bay) The white columns were finished with SW Emerald Exterior. To ensure maximum durability and adhesion, all surfaces were prepped and primed with SW Extreme Bond Primer and Zinsser cover stain. Additionally, as a courtesy to the homeowners, I powerwashed the roof, removing discoloration and moss. This significantly improved the front of the house, resulting in a complete and finished look. This transformation can now be enjoyed for the next 20+ years. Sharp & Clean Results!!!

" Dark to Bright"

These dark cabinets initially made this kitchen appear small. However, after applying (BM)Ad. in 'Creamy White' Satin finish to all surfaces, the space was transformed. The installation of new matching hardware, including k***s, pulls, and hinges, further enhanced the update. The results opened up the room, creating a brighter feel. Homeowners expressed great satisfaction with the results, appreciating the beautiful transformation.

"Beautiful open grain Oak" Oak cabinets are celebrated for their remarkable durability and enduring appeal. Characterized by a prominent pitted grain, this finish features a deep grain fill while retaining the surface texture. Although these cabinets had incurred significant water damage under the sink area, they remained in fair condition. A meticulous cleaning of all surfaces preceded a thorough sanding process. Two coats of primer were applied, followed by a final sanding. The color coat consisted of BM Advance Baby Fawn in a Satin finish. All hardware underwent rigorous cleaning and degreasing prior to reinstallation. As a result, these cabinets are set to be enjoyed for another 20 years. Truly an exceptional transformation!!

The homeowners were contemplating replacing these bathroom cabinets. However, refinishing presented a cost-effective alternative with exceptional results. Following comprehensive masking of the entire bathroom, all surfaces underwent degreasing and thorough cleaning. Subsequent steps involved sanding and preparing holes for new hardware installation. Two coats of (SW) EB Primer were applied, succeeded by two coats of (BM) Advance White Dove in a satin finish. The homeowners expressed satisfaction with the durable factory finish results. The oversized black hardware pulls effectively complemented this transformation.

After Photos Only/ I revisited this residence one year after refinishing the kitchen cabinets last summer. This time, the clients desired a wall color similar to the cabinet color and a bold accent wall reminiscent of terracotta. The selected colors, Adobe White and Adobe Dust from Benjamin Moore, were applied in an eggshell finish. The ceiling was also refreshed with Premium Ceiling Paint from Sherwin-Williams. Additionally, both sides of the front door were painted. The exterior was completed with Blue in a Soft Gloss from Benjamin Moore, while the interior received a white semi-gloss finish. Clean and Beautiful Results!!!

Cabinets for Christmas!! These cabinets were in fairly good condition, but the homeowners were updating the entire kitchen area and wanted to incorporate them in the plan as well. Having them refinished "In the home" saved them a lot of money and changed the look of the entire kitchen. First, I de-greased and sanded all surfaces. Next, I primed all surfaces with two coats of ( SW) Extreme Bond Primer. After the primer dried and was finished sanded, two coats of (BM) Advance (Color: Pale Oak) were applied in a satin finish. The new hardware k***s for the doors and hand cup pulls for the drawers were attached while reinstalling.

Homeowners recently had some renovations done, including a brand new kitchen space. The next phase was to paint the kitchen and all common areas in the rest of the home. I painted the play room, living room, kitchen, entry hallway, stairway, and second floor landing with ( BM Regal Select ) "Pale Oak" in an eggshell finish. All of the ceilings were painted in a flat white finish using ( SW Premium Ceiling Paint). Only the ceilings and walls were requested for this project. (No Trim/ Doors) The new color really transformed the entire interior, giving it a much more open feel and look. The homeowners were very happy with the Beautiful/ Clean Results!!!

Laundry Room+Desk

Both of the projects were completed at the same residence. First, I started in the laundry room/ closet, repairing the walls and ceiling. I replaced the old fixture in the ceiling with a new dome light, and then pulled out the old flooring/ trim. After the walls and ceiling were painted, I installed new Pergo flooring (natural wood). Last, I installed new base trim and all new Closet Maid shelving to complete the space.I also made a small box using the extra flooring to cover the gas line from the old dryer. Maximizing the small spaces in your home to be more efficient and productive will make your daily/ weekly routines that much easier.
Overall the Desk/ Chair combination were in fairly good condition. The top of the desk did have some stains and scuffs, but no major damage. I sanded all surfaces before finishing both with 2 coats of Rustoleum Professional High Performance Enamel( Dark Grey/Gloss). Now, this Desk can be enjoyed for another 15+ years.

Any kitchen big or small the system process is always the same. These Oak cabinets were a bit dated and dirty especially around the stove/cooking area. All surfaces were thoroughly cleaned and sanded, then a coat of Oil based primer was applied to seal in all stains. After that I applied 2 coats of primer on top to build the surface .(SW Extreme Bond)These cabinets were being done in an open grain finish. The deep oak grain is filled with primer but the wave of the grain remains open. These were finished in a satin Cloud White( BM Advance). New k***s were added and the original exposed brackets were cleaned thoroughly before re-installing. Why replace your cabinets when you can refinish and save a lot of money.

This project was a complete basement transformation. Floors and anything not being painted were all covered and protected. I prepared and painted all trim, doors, and wainscoting with (SW) Urethane Trim Enamel. Everything was sprayed for beautiful industrial finish. I replaced the old door hardware with all new black hinges and k***s, before being reinstalled. The handrails were completely sanded down and sprayed to match the finish of the trim as well. The ceiling (SW Premium ceiling paint) and walls (BM Whitestone) were painted to complete this transformation. The homeowners were very happy with the BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING results.

These kitchen cabinets were in rough condition, with half of the brackets loose and out of position. The handle pulls were broken or cracked, and a heavy grease film had built up around the cooking area. The old hardware holes were filled, and the new locations were drilled. All surfaces were then degreased and thoroughly scrubbed before being sanded. Two coats of primer were applied and sanded before the two coats of color.(Color: BMA Hazelnut Cream)
All doors were adjusted to align properly during installation. Rubber bumbers were added to all the doors and small felt pads to the drawers for quiet closing operation. Black hardware single pulls were installed to complete this transformation. Saved the homeowners a lot of money refinishing these cabinets, instead of replacing.
Beautiful/ Clean Results!!!
