Contractor Chronicles: The Great Mechanicsburg Bike Ramp Caper 😅🪵🚲**

We’re working a job in a nice neighborhood in Mechanicsburg — quiet streets, well-kept lawns, and everything in its place.

We had some extra lumber delivered by mistake Two days ago, so we stacked it neatly by the curb for the supplier to come pick up.

Today I get a call from the homeowner.

Turns out, two local kids had been eyeing that stack like it was gold. Not strangers — just two determined neighborhood schemers with one goal: build the ultimate bike ramp. And today was ex*****on day.

They rolled up in *broad daylight* on electric bikes, with rope and a full-on hauling setup, ready to claim their prize.

But right as they were in the middle of their mission — they got caught.

The homeowner spotted them, stepped outside, and just like that, it was game over. The kids were immediately hit with **moons and mountains of remorse** and put every board back exactly where they found it. Then they pedaled off, probably rethinking their future in lumber heists.

Let me be clear:
**I don’t condone stealing.**
That’s never cool.

But as a former kid myself, I’ve got to admit — the planning, the effort, the creativity... it gave me a good laugh. Shoutout to the homeowner for handling it smoothly, and to the future ramp builders — next time, just knock on the door. I might’ve even helped you design it. 😂
