I started this garden because it was a dream of mine to grow my own food/herbs from home but little did I know my little guy would love it and enjoy it just as much as I do! 🍅🥒♥️

Due to the rain we were unable to do a full video from start to finish on how we installed our cattle fence panel arch and trellises but I can do a part 2 with explaining how we did it and what products we used to complete this project. Just let us know if that’s something you would like to see 🪏🪴

Life’s been busy lately so easy crockpot meals for the win!

Crockpot Pot Roast Recipe:
3-4lb Chuck Roast
2-3 Cups Beef Bone Broth
6 LG Carrots
1 Medium Onion (Sweet or Yellow)
Potatoes of Choice
Splash of ACV
6-8 Cloves of Garlic
2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary
2-3 Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
2 Bay Leaves
Salt with your heart
Cook on Low for 8hrs

(Adjust to your liking)

This footage was before I had a camera stand so I wasn’t able to film the actual filling of the dirt/compost but this is a small clip of how I did the process.

I did a layer of cardboard first and a layer of paper second. This acts as a w**d barrier and breaks down over time. I will say it has worked ok for the w**ds but it didn’t stop the grass from sprouting up. But that’s easy enough to w**d out.

Some people put actual w**d barrier or mesh to keep w**ds and ground critters out but personally I like the fact that the paper breaks down and will allow my plants roots to grow down deeper then the raised bed.

Would it have been cheaper and easier to buy it in bulk?! Absolutely!! But I lived and learned and I know for next time. Im a beginner gardener so don’t judge me! 🪏🪴
