The first picture is of a stone paved garden reclaim project; step one is to push back the fern line from the walking path, still have a number of feet to go but the rhizome, nodules and root removal went well for the first pass.
The second picture is showcasing the massive number of tradescantia currently in bloom at another property.

Spent the start of the job cutting back the massive bramble stalks that were shadowing out these blueberry shrubs.
In the first picture I highlighted how the branches were reaching diagonally in order to try to reach the sun.
The second picture shows all the room I made to let the sunshine in.. they will be much happier and in time will start filling out on the backside for a higher yield of berries.
The next couple pics are general views of some of the garden plots on the property.

Last year I started a reclaim project where the main initiative was to knock back the violet take over. You can see pics in the older dates on this feed of my starting ng visits. I'm still pecking away at this property but extremely happy about how the results are showing up this season. Fresh, just the way I like it

Before and after shots of two shrubs I did a quick pass pruning on to shrink, open up the canopy for under growth perennials and neaten up In general. Still have to get in there and remove pounds of deadwood, but that will come later.

It's pretty hard to see die to the long grass , but if you blow up the pictures you can get a better look at this hammer...

It's pretty hard to see die to the long grass , but if you blow up the pictures you can get a better look at this hammer in corrugated edging install to fend off weeds and invasive grasses from beyond the fence. Last year I cut in the edge line for it. That's about 50 feet and we got to a good stopping point where stone will be added inside the fence line to ensure the pooling spots have a drainage area. I also added a tunnel underneath another section where heavy pooling water can run through without having to cut the edging, keeping a smooth solid sheet all the way down.
