Good morning everyone! We are currently looking for someone to fill a laborer position until early-mid August! It will be the perfect opportunity for a high school aged student to learn some new work skills! Pay will start at $10 an hour and if they decide to come back each summer they will get a raise! We here at J&H lawn care and landscaping have just picked up 3 more mowing jobs and 4 new landscape jobs with one more estimate to do this afternoon! Busy Busy Busy!! We will also be looking for places for snow removal during the winter months! Please contact us if you have any questions about snow removal or lawn care and landscaping needs! We are also doing this job for a couple in Armington Il we will be tearing out old retaining wall as it has already collapsed and will be putting up a new one on both sides of this shed door, this time it will not be poured concrete, we will be using angled retaining wall brick to build this back up and make it look better than ever!
Not only will we be doing that but we will be tearing out the landscaping on the south side of their house due too rotted railroad ties and will be replacing it with the same style brick as listed above for their retaining wall.
We will also be removing brush, w**d trimming around the property line of their beautiful 5 acre lot, removing brush and a large tree, trimming hedges around the rest of their house and spraying the w**ds that have gone out of control in the cracks of their brick porch on the back side of the residence!

Here are some photos of a few jobs we are doing in the surrounding areas!
Descriptions of what we are doing will be in this post as well! The first three photos along the house are from a job we will be completing in Heyworth Illinois, we will be burying this sump pipe to help with water management for these homeowners, this year they have been struggling with standing water in the yard and we will be putting in a drainage pipe to help with it as well. From the fence to the porch on the back side of the house we will be doing a border over holland brick pavers and river rock, as we get close to the “storm door” if you will, we will be adding a 2nd layer of landscape to come up to the level of that riser per home owners request, as we turn the corner and go towards the porch we will be putting in a little arch around the sump outlet to not only protect that PVC but to give it a unique look!

Atlanta Job update: homeowner has now decided to tear out the drive way and put in new to match the new sidewalk and porch! Stay tuned! Pictures to come tomorrow!

We have just been contacted by a home owner in San Jose and will be removing some debris from the storm that passed through our area mid morning today! Pictures to come!
