I’ve been moving the layers around to fresh grass every evening and they spend their days eating grass and bugs and laying lots of eggs! We are all loving this beautiful spring weather.

Chocolate English Orpingtons out enjoying the sun. I put my chocolate mottled rooster over the solid chocolate hens and should get both colors out of them. My solid chocolate roosters turned out really mean and I was t about to breed that into my flock! Life’s too short for mean roosters and I never keep one!
