MURPHY HEATING AND COOLING, INC.

In March, 2000, Jason and Dee Dee Murphy founded Murphy Heating and Cooling, Inc., a local HVAC company dedicated to serving the Hartselle community and North Alabama surrounding areas.

Jason, the company's visionary founder, passed away in June 2024. His passion for providing exceptional HVAC services and his commitment to their customers will always be remembered.

Dee Dee, with Jason's guidance, has continued to operate the business, upholding their shared values. We are grateful for the support of our customers and our community throughout these 24 years.

As we look to the future, we are announcing that we are currently accepting bids and offers to purchase business-related assets, including the company name, phone number, customer base, and physical assets such as service trucks, tools, equipment, and parts.

We are committed to finding a new owner who will continue to uphold our high standards of quality and service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual or business to acquire a well-established HVAC company with a strong reputation and a loyal customer base.

For more than 25 years we have been honored to provide our surrounding communities with honest, reliable HVAC services. Over these years many of you have evolved from our first customers to lifelong friends.
Sadly, we must inform you that Jason Murphy, our Co-Owner passed away Monday June 24th.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jason but we are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our customers for many more years.
Murphy Heating and Cooling Inc is still open for business and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

If you have a heat pump for your heat source we recommend switching to emergency heat on your thermostat. With the extreme cold temps and especially with the freezing rain and sleet your heat pump is producing very little heat. Looks like maybe Wednesday afternoon would be ok to switch back to normal operation.
