Eighteen students from The Bromfield School visited our Harvard office last Friday for an inside look at the profession and our work.

Many thanks to Chris, Mark, and Riaan for taking the time to prepare for the visit and engage with the students throughout the day. This marked Mrs. Fontaine’s seventh class visit to our office since 2017, and we truly appreciate her continued partnership and enthusiasm for introducing students to architecture and engineering.

It’s always rewarding to connect with young people in our community — there may very well be a future architect or engineer in this group.

We are excited to lead the restoration of the historic White Cliffs mansion in Northborough, transforming it into a premier wedding venue. Through an approach we call “restoration through extraction,” we strip away the heavy 1960s additions to reveal the original 1886 Daniel Wesson estate.

By enclosing the original porches in glass and introducing a subservient massing for the new ballroom and cocktail spaces, the design restores the building’s transparency, silhouette, and prominence on the site while positioning it for a sustainable future.
