We have had quite a few calls to drywall new builds lately. Here’s a nice little 2 story we did the drywall on a little while ago some of it was already being primed as we were finishing up . Great folks to work for.

If your drywall on your garage ceiling is falling apart from years of freezing in the winter and extreme heat in the summer I can help. Although I don’t think drywall is the best option for an unheated area due to freezing and expanding causing the tape fall off the seams, when done properly with wood covering the seems in a decorative manner also using a fiber flex tape the chances of your ceiling looking great for years to come increases drastically. This is also a great way to bring your garage up to fire code using 5/8s fire rated drywall instead of the 1/2in I often find on these ceilings that are falling apart. After priming and painting this has a really great look that makes any garage stand out!

I do always recommend having finished drywall in a temperature controlled environment.

With the cost of living going through the roof most don’t have the money to spend on that big addition these days. Sometimes putting that extra bedroom, bathroom, living room, play room etc. in the basement can save you money and give you that extra space. Here is one example the customer put together and had me finish the drywall.

The old plaster in this stairwell and landing was falling apart, sometimes we are able to go over it with fresh drywall if the area doesn’t have to be demoed.

Hung and finished this house recently. This is a great sized house for my small business to handle and the family we worked for was fantastic. As usual I’m not very good at keeping up with pictures of the work we have been doing but once every few months I put something on here lol. Thanks for all your continued support and all the work you provide my small business Barry County.

I’m looking for someone that is capable of hanging drywall to work with my dad and I. No felonies and it has to be the right fit for us as you will be working one on one with us. Preferably someone I already know.

Here’s a garage I just hung drywall in. I will not be finishing with drywall tape and mud because it will not be heated. A non heated garage will freeze and thaw in the winter causing expansion and movement when froze and generally bake the lid in the summer. Drywall tape and mud will not hold up over time to this environment, so it’s best to trim the seems out with a different product. I generally like the looks of 1“ x 4“ covering the seems and recessed edges so when I hang the board I don’t stagger the joints like I would if I was going to finish with mud. After being painted this provides a nice looking functional garage that will hold up better over time.
I’m putting this on my page because most people don’t understand why I won’t tape and finish a unheated garage or poll barn. I do however hang them and can trim them out for a finished look.
