From us here at Green Acres Tree Moving, we would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas! Thank you to all of our clients this past year for making it another great year. Celebrating 30 completed years in this bussiness has been a great milestone for us. We are looking forward to another great season coming up in 2026 and many more years to come. Please keep us in mind for all your tree needs. We have specimen Evergreens ranging from 6’-20’ and shade trees 1.5”-8” caliper available. Wholesale ball and burlap are also available and of course, large truck mounted spade work!

We are starting to think Spring, here at Green Acres! With lots of calls coming in, we just thought we would give everyone a quick update.

It will most likely be a couple weeks before we really get rolling with the big trucks. There is still a lot of frost about 2’ down.

B&B orders will start being dug this week!

Spring road restrictions play a large part of when and where we can travel in the Spring. We are hoping to see those get lifted in the next couple weeks.

If you are looking to get Spring evergreens moved, please get ahold of us sooner than later. Schedule’s are getting full.

We are looking to buy large quantities of premium quality evergreen trees, around 6’-20’. If you have some or know of any that are for sale, please reach out!

The cats out of the bag! We have added another Big-John Tree Transplanter Mfg., Inc. 90LP to the fleet (pictured) to help fulfill all of our great customers needs! We are looking forward to finishing up a couple little things and get it in the dirt.

As we round out 2024 we just wanted to share a few photos from another great digging season. We would also like thank each and everyone of our clients for yet another awesome season! We are already looking forward to spring with lots of new product to offer. Up next for us is Northern Green Expo in a couple weeks and before we know it we will be back in the fields. See you all in the spring!

Tree moving looked a little different for us yesterday. We teamed up with Mike Wagner (Formely Wagner Construction) to supply the Conflunece in downtown Hastings with a Christmas tree! We provided a 32’ black hills spruce tree grown at our home farm while Fox’s Crane set it perfectly in place for us! Be sure to check it out in downtown Hastings.

The time has finally come for us to start offering Premium grade 6’-7’ B&B trees! With our strategic planting of our fields, we are now able to harvest every other row of trees in this size range. That will then allow other rows to grow up to larger heights for large spade work down the road. At this time, we have White pine and Norway spruce at size. Late nights and long hours has been the name of the game for us on the few dry days we have had recently! Here is a project we wrapped up for our friends over at Northern Natural Gas last week bringing in 28 14’ plus balsam fir. We are doing our best to get to everyone but with the rains we have been having it makes it tough, but we are making it happen when conditions allow! The rain sure is good for all the plants in our nursery that are coming up for future projects!
