Today we participated in the “Build My Future” career day event at the Northwest Mo state fairgrounds. For the second year we teamed up with Taylor Fencing, LLC and HWY 2&65 Fabrication & Fencing to introduce high school students from around NW Missouri to modern fencing techniques and equipment. We had a remote controlled skid loader, self propelled post drivers, mini skid steer and welders the students could get hands on and operate as well as other tools and equipment. We also took the opportunity to let our crews network and learn from each other. Several other local businesses took part in the event KR Dirtworks was right next to us and got some good drone footage of our area. Nichols Lawn Care & Landscaping llc. Tree Service., Nail Excavating, Herzog, MFA Incorporated,Grundy Electric Cooperative, Inc.,GRM Networks as well as others took part in the event. We spent a lot of time on the ball field earlier this summer. It’s great watching these kids grow up and have fun together. Thank you to everyone who helps make sure our kids can play ball from the coaches, field prep, shack workers, score keepers, umpires, Eagleville Summer Ball Association members, ect.

A whirlwind of a week for us! Started off with 2500’ of 5 strand barbwire with 18 brace assemblies to build and a couple gates hung. Wednesday- Friday we worked with some other Fence Builders on an Aluminum residential fence training with Mr. Fence, Thursday we trained on some chainlink and wood privacy fence. Friday Taylor Fencing, LLC rounded up a great group of Fencers and got supplies donated for a volunteer project fence to a deserving Veteran. Lots of fun and learning took place. Guys from Georgia, Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Indiana all chipped in.
