We’re excited to take a moment to recognize Andrea Ford, our most recent hire at Verb Architecture. Although Andrea has only been with us a short time, she has already exceeded expectations through her design talent, attention to detail, and professionalism. She’s made a lasting impact not only on our team, but also on the clients we serve.

A New Orleans native and licensed architect based in Hattiesburg, Andrea brings a wealth of experience in multifamily, hospitality, adaptive reuse, and historic renovation projects. A graduate of the LSU School of Architecture, she approaches each project with a thoughtful, story-driven mindset that balances preservation, functionality, and detail.

Through her collaborative approach and strong design instincts, Andrea has quickly become an integral part of our team—consistently pairing big ideas with real-world goals and budgets. We are incredibly thankful for the creativity, care, and perspective she brings to our work, and we’re honored to have her on board.

Finishing a project is an extremely rewarding experience. It’s the culmination of 1,000’s of hours planning, discussing, brainstorming, meeting, designing & building. A well run project is worthy of a sigh of relief and a celebration.

Thanks for the honor to complete this adventure with you. This space, with its meticulous humidor and ample space to gather is worthy of a large exhale and a whole lot of inhales.

RAISE; to move to a higher position; lift up; elevate:

It's a humbling experience to be entrusted with an individual's dream… To hear and receive their vision and in turn, deliver a design/a product that changes the trajectory of their life.

Recently, we were given the task of helping .farms with the development of their new mushroom farming facility in Hattiesburg, MS. This futuristic, indoor nursery is truly unique. It feels like you're gardening on the moon. 

Thanks Quinby and team for allowing us the opportunity to play a role in this one-of-kind development.

HONE IN; to focus one’s attention more narrowly or precisely on a particular task, issue, etc.

So often, it’s the large pieces that get the most attention with architecture. It’s difficult for them not to. They immediately communicate progress, change. They make a glorious impact.

And, while we love creating large pieces that wow, we also revel in the small pieces. These pieces might not get the recognition they deserve at first but, over time, you can’t help but appreciate them.

As the Merchants & Marine Bank gets closer to being finished, we get more and more excited about the public experiencing both the large and small designs of this project.
