Our Story

I started Revitalizations LLC in 2013 when I was due to be medically retired from the Navy Seabees (Medically Retired in 2014 with over 15 year of Active Duty Time). I knew I would not be able to work a normal 9 to 5 job due to my disabilities and with my wife already disabled we needed a way to support our 4 children. This was also a way to teach my children a valuable skill (Furniture Repair & Sales) plus teach them a work ethic. Even with being disabled you can work and do not have to live off the government.

Since our start in 2013 we’ve grown from Wood Furniture Repair and Refinishing, to selling Furniture, Antiques, offering Uhaul Equipment Rentals, Derksen Portable Building, Eagle Carports, and Boutique items. Toward the end of 2018 we grew to where we need more space so we tired to fix our original location to house more products. The city decided they did not my business anymore and then tired to put me out of business. Due to this we moved in March of 2019 to our current location 72 Monroe Road Hattiesburg, MS 39401 closer to Evelyn Gandy Parkway and I-59.

Shortly after moving I found out my injuries from the service had gotten worse and can no longer continue doing the physically/labor items of U-haul, Furniture, and most furniture repairs. So I had to drop these services and products from my business.

Because of this we’ve changed into what we are now. A Boutique selling clothing and apparel items including 9-Line Apparel, Melissa & Doug Interactive Toys. We also still sell Derksen Portable Buildings, and Eagle Carports which I enjoy as it keeps me somewhat in the field of construction.
